Don't try and build many funny things, even though there are great open tools tools around. Don't run a cockroach on your own. Just use the cloud service. You must really have valid and specific requirements that do not allow you to do that before you make that decision. Talk to your customers, talk to potential customers whether a feature is really needed. And we built, for example, too many features in set that we assumed too many things in the past,. We now strip some of the things that nobody actually needs.
