China's Soft Power Work Has Succeeded
China has succeeded in eroding the narrative hegemony, if you like, of the United States or Western liberal democracies. Xi Jinping has repeatedly said that this is an opportunity for China that has come once in a century. And he thinks that this is the moment when they can rewrite the global rules which he regards as unfair without Chinese participation.
