Pregnancy T2 Levels in Pregnant Women

We usually talk about T3 and T4 mainly because there are not yet assays, labs, to measure T2. However, when we do look at the T2 levels in pregnant women, they are lower. We also see post thyroidectomy. Obviously, everything is low after a thyroidectomy. So like I said, it's more T2 is more relevant than T3 andT4 because it does not affect thyroid hormone levels. No change in TSA, T3, T4, although it is considered an active thyroid hormone.
