The Death of Prince and Dam on the Gulf of Alaska
The cruise ship Prince and Dam was in the middle of the Gulf of Alaska when a fire broke out. Captain Cornelius Wabika has one option left, to flood the engine room with carbon dioxide gas. CO2 will starve the fire of oxygen, but it will also leave the engine room uninhabitable for hours. With all the engines shut down, the ship stabilizers have no power. They'll be at the mercy of Typhoon Vernon's waves.
