There's this constant pressure, particularly among the upper class, to show that they use leisure productively. They go to Aspenite, they pay thousands of dollars to go to the Aspen Ideas Festival or to attend TED Talks. And I think part of it is that it justifies your position in the hierarchy to you and in a way to everybody else. The problem is what they do feel is not the kind of larger social problems because they're doing the right thing all the time.
