Let Doctors Be Doctors

One of the themes on the thread was that insurance companies should let doctors be doctors and practice as we see. John Sutter: I have a real problem with just saying, 'Let doctors be doctors' He says insurers are very far from the patient; they use algorithms to make decisions. Sutter: It's not really in their interest to be denying care even if it has some reasonable evidence base behind it.
