Sow Tow's forces were sent into a panic and this is where Leo Bay and Sun Jun attempted to capitalise by sailing over the Yangtze. Sow Tow realised that he was now on the back foot with his command in disarray. So as fearless as Sow Tow was he couldn't get the job done and China ended up spiralling into this disorganized mess for a couple of centuries afterwards. And GONE was the classical hand dynasty which was a very much a stabilising influence over classical China for many centuries.
