The Green Button Thought Experiment

In the real world, we don't always know what the consequences of our actions will be. We're supposed to imagine a case where we've kind of cleaned things up from the real world. But I think that it's really important to look to the cleaned up cases to make sure that we're really testing out the factors that we're supposed to be testing out.
