The Pros and Cons of Time Dilation in the Early Universe

Time ran five times slower one billion years after the Big Bang than it does now, scientists say. Researchers analysed data from around 190 quasars to make their discovery. The most distant and therefore oldest quasars ticked five times slower than much closer ones. This is our earliest ever observation of this strange cosmic time warp.
