The Avern: The Most Dangerous Thing in Existence

An ape with the head of a dog is in mythology referred to as a sinoscephalus and literally meaning dog head. There's lots of mythological references to this idea, but it is also a way to describe a baboon or Howler Monkey. Cervarian doesn't give us anything about what he saw that made him hallucinate. We don't know if it's alien or natural or a dream or real. So we at least believe that some time has passed, but we don't know what's happened in the room.
