The Neolithic of the Nile Valley
People could move much more widely out the valley into what are now hyper arid deserts. At that time you had what geographers call the inter tropical convergent zone, which basically means rainfall patterns are moving southward from the mediterranean. Formerly you would have had a lot of animal life, a lot of big fauna. There are pictures of them in the rock engravings.
