How to Determine the Value of Work About It

It's easy to take up a 30 second joke and display that on its own. Often what's done is an hour-long buildup of building trust with your audience. So when you tell that joke, the audience finds it hilarious because you've put in the work. To just separate the joke out seems unfair.
