The Idiad Is Not About the Trojan War.
The poem is not really the iliad in the sense that it's about the siege and capture of troy. It includes the way in which achilles is angered by his overall commander, agamemnon. Its very interesting, a greek poem that shows a greek behaving badly. So its not uniformly in that we greeks are wonderful, but greek values are good. You've got to live up to them.
