Lucy Walker's Testimony in the Temple Lot Case
Alicia: I just find this interesting because this is Lucy Walker giving testimony in the Temple Lot case. And it's a chilling comment on what these women had to go through after being convinced by Joseph Smith that God was commanding them to marry and have sex with them. She says, "I gave myself up as a sacrifice for it was not a love matter, so to speak, in our affairs" Alicia: Can't imagine how Lucy Walker was able to do some of the things she would have had to have done with them, knowing that she didn't love them.
