The Replicability Crisis
Stamenuel: We've started the replicability crisis by worrying mostly about stats and things pea hacking. And then gradually have become more concerned with things like a validity and theory, or at least connection between theory and data. The greatest challenge for psychological science is maintaining our emphasis on science - even when its findings question current ideologies of race, gender and social justice. If research doesn't show what we wanted to, it must be racist. This is a tragically misguided belief. I hope that a p s will hold the line for competent, pure reviewed research and debate.
