Even in traditional shamanistic societies, the shamans were always viewed with a kind of ambivolent feelings of reverence. You know, i think that probably has more to do with what it might say about the personality of the person making the claim. Only very rarely are those kinds of perceptions, those delusions, invented completely out of whole cloth. I really have a lot of respect and admiration for geordand peterson. He hoad to be a lttle bit careful with them. Those perceptions are not based on nothing.
