Savant Syndrome - Idiot, Savant?
The most dramatic examples of Savant Syndrome occur with people who score very, very low on IQ test while being inarguably brilliant in specific areas. There's something called acquired Savant Syndrome where someone sustains a traumatic brain injury and then emerges with the ability to sketch with enormous proficiency. And I think stuff you should know might have explored one or two of these sorts of cases. So do check that out. It is a, it is, I think you're spot on. Although it's called a syndrome, currently it's not recognized as a mental disorder or even part of a mental disorder in medical manuals.
