How Did John Milton Manage to Do That?
He had been a real thorn in their side and through the early months of 1649 he was managing to get out a weekly paper. It was full of descriptions of John Bradshaw who tried the king as a dirty upstart and a traitor, Oliver Cromwell as a town bull of Eliwho's faced like a maggot to even his nose. He wrote them and said you need me this is what I can do for you but actually he recognized that actually what muchment need him can do with something that Milton and code couldn't even begin to do which was to cast things in the language.
