Introduction

The pre columbia period in south america is mainly the story of what happened in and around peruvian lands. We started out by talking about the norticico civilization, who were around four to five thousand years ago. They are well known for their pyramid construction, which is highly intriguing when compared to e tian pyramid building that was going on at a completely detached area of the world. The next concentration of culture would come towards the end of the same millennium with the growth and success of the chabin civilization. It has been suggested that this be down to droughts and earthquakes, or at least that they may have been contributory factors.
