Sally Kohn: I wrote an article last week trying to grapple with what we're talking about. It's so much easier in the context of the work that I've done mostly which is state censorship. Things that are undelling vibrant debates have to be aired in order to have meaningful analysis and succeed, she says. She was invited to speak at Reed College on Boy's Don't Cry but was shouted down for two and a half hours by trans activists who were accusing her of being transphobic. "I think it's a stupid debate, but it's one that I think everyone should have the right to have" - Kohn.
