I Don't Know if I Can Trust That, Rightlik. And if It Doesn't Convince You, That's Ok.

A lot of what people do that is in some sense non naive is still profoundly over generalize. Like somebody who's had an experience their whole life of being treated well, because they grew up in a context where people treated each other fairly well as contexts go,. is going to have a non naive trust based on their experience that people will treat each other well. But you don't want to be saying that in a way that feels like denying what they are in fact saying - which is that i don't adhere to some prescribed left wing set of politics either. And so it's hard to to respond in a way  that doesn't involve blocking your own perception of things or something else
