Slice and Patch: A Different Type of Surgery

In this book, we look at the case of slice and patch. The two doctors who are supposed to be performing surgery on a patient but aren't there because they're both off golfing. We might think intuitively it's required that slices and patches do their work together - but in fact each is only required along with the other. And moral philosophy doesn't have much to say about this so you can construct your own puzzles by looking at these examples.
