We never learn very much about Rocky's like backstory, right where he came from, who his parents are. And the place in his life is the underdog of everything, right? So it's so inglorious. It's so normal. We don't need to know that he was bullied when he was a kid or his dad died or whatever the story ends up being. we just can take Rocky kind of as he is because what we know about him is enough.
