I was reading a summary of your thesis on the aid response to the tsunami disaster that occurred in Sri Lanka in 2004. A lot of the challenges seem to arise from outside actors coming into a local situation which they don't fully understand with a sort of abstract one size fits all idea about how things work or about what people need. I'm curious. What do you think is a better model or what do you think people should bear in mind as they're contemplating how they can be part of the solution? "It's never perfect it's always imperfect where humans," he says.
