The First Official Vetoes Since 1990
The first ever official veto came as I said in 1990 and that was a Chinese government owned company named Katic Katic that sought to take over the US aerospace components manufacturer MAMCO. If it had been another country it equally would have been vetoed so I don't think that that is a huge shock you know. Another good example was the president vetoing the acquisition of Axtron because they possessed sensitive technology with military application, he says.
