The Benefits of Ozempic for Weight Loss
Meg Urry: These drugs have been around in some earlier forms for decades. They target hormones in the gut, they mimic them and essentially keep you fuller for longer. Urry: The drug ozempic is only approved for type 2 diabetes; wagovii is approved for weight loss. She says as more patients are taking these medicines, questions are emerging about whether some more serious side effects might be associated with them.
