The Importance of Loving Service

I see some vestiges of it still at St. John's where I teach now, which is one of the reasons why I wanted to come back to it. We lack that sense of what human life is all about, which is loving service to God and neighbor. It's not about anything else. That doesn't mean you have to like burn your cash and dissolve your bank accounts and burn down your house. But it does mean that you have to spend some time really looking into your heart and seeing what matters most for you.
