How Much Will We Lose as a Result of Brexit?
Jonathan Haskell, one of the people on the panel that says they interest rates for the Bank of England, says Brexit has cost the UK $29 billion in lost business investment alone. How is it to track these hypothetical economic could-have-beens and do such technical things that actually matter? It's a really difficult thing, and I was talking to somebody, an economist today, who was saying that, oh, they changed all the methodology as well at the timeBrexit vote,. So that's really made our calculations super difficult. But there's no doubt, of course, that we're poorer than we would otherwise be.
