All failure is due to lack of knowledge, he says. We must continue to create explanatory knowledge andconinulo, make it as fast as possible. Most species extinct within a few million years or less - so the particular knowledge in our genes that defines our species will not stay in existence automatically. In fact, what will happen, unless it is saved by other kinds of knowledge, the kind of knowledge in our minds, that it will necessarily be destroyed.
