The Nature of Evil

The difference between good and bad is rooted precisely in the nature of things. Augustine worried about this problem, but he needed to have a better understanding of evil. The idea is to grasp that evil is not a thing in the way that goodness is a thing. It's an inability to do something that they are supposed to be able to do.
