I remember maybe one of the most emotional scenes in the movie is they finally accept the truth. They literally have the freaking Joker living under their roof. The way this family operates and communicates with each other is a little like Wes Anderson. I think he was very good. It's just as much little Abigail Brezzlin and little Rory Colkin and Joaquin Phoenix, honestly.
