The Impact of Trees on the Climate Change Debate

Trees have a massively important role to play, but we need to think of that as part of a much wider mix. About 80% of our petlans are degraded, and only two to four % of those have been restored in some way over the last 30 years. And because they're in that poor state, they're omitting the equivalent of about five percent of the uk's greenhouse gases every year. That's more than the annual missions of h g v on our roads.
