The Power of Storytelling

When I was a medical director of critical care, when we would do initiatives and try to change how we deliver care, I believe that you have to win both hearts and minds in order to develop partnerships. And so I think storytelling is part of what I've done for a long time. Now that I am a leader in the school, I use storytelling again when I have initiatives. It's easy to see lots of people in this place as these, like, big leaders or famous people. But actually, we're all people. We love data. Data wins minds, but stories win hearts.
