Introduction
Jacqueline Galvin is Assistant Professor of anesthesia at the University of Illinois at Chicago. This will be part one of problems with term pregnancy and then we'll do a second part a little down the road. In 2009 ACOG developed new terminology to describe fetal heart tone tracings which we'll get into next. We can inadvertently choose a suboptimal anesthetic technique that contributes either maternal or fetal harm.
