Climate Change Is Not a Choice
The idea that fossil fuels, you know, being able to choose between fossil fuels or renewables, is that an actual choice for anyone is kind of ridiculous. We don't have time for 30 years of a slowly increasing price on carbon. It's not the silver bullet; voters just won't vote for any new taxes at that point. Mandates and regulations are very salient in the eyes of consumers where they can see how much more expensive your gas bill is when you fill up your car or electricity bill. So i think this is actually supported by doctor thayler's behavior insights.
