Waving at People on Boats

Glib means taking something lightly in a non-serious way when it should be taken seriously. It's OK to wave on the land if they're on a boat, but you can't wave at someone on another thing - including a train. But for some reason, if it's a boat, it's OK. The other thing that's OK is water skiing or hot air balloon floating.
