Is Base 58 Used in Bitcoin?

An address is basically just a base 58 representation of a version number plus a public key hash. So that's why all private keys start with a five or at least used to starting with a five. Now I happen to know yours that there are also addresses that start with a free. What's up with that? Well, usually those are multi signature addresses, but they don't have to be. They can also be types of segway addresses or there could be many things, right? Yes. And then followed by the private key.
