The History of Wolves
The first systematic attacks on wolves by humans date back 10,000 years. As settlers pushed west across North America, we got serious about getting rid of them completely. In 1995, US Fish and Wildlife released 66 wolves from Canada into Yellowstone National Park. It wasn't until 2005 that Oregon started regularly seeing wolves again.
