In the Gospel of John, we get a grand review of Jesus than in any other gospel. The Great Intercessory Prayer is an example of his advocacy on the behalf of those who follow him. "I think I'm safe in saying that part of the reason we're so misunderstood by others in the Christian tradition," he says.
