If the working class isn't broken by the civil war and maintains its position, i think you get bucarin winning out. Because because the party was at that point completely dominated by the neuroses of the exploiter. In a class society which is not capitalism like they think it is, it is fucking feudalism. That means when the crisis comes when it's no longer sustain internally. As a consumer society actually had something going for it in the fifties. There was forward momentum. They were making progress on a sign ant advances in a technological planning and central planning through computer power. But they hit im they hit the limits just this same time we did.
