123. At Cramen in Arcadia, Men See a Certain Spring in the Ground and Swim in It

It is said that at Coronilla in Biosia the animals called moles cannot live or dig up the ground. Men see there is a certain spring in which field mace are found and swim, passing their lives in it. The same thing is said to occur likewise at Lampsacas. At Cramen in Thessaly they say there are only two crows in the city.
