How to Assess Your Fit for Operations Roles

People often think that operations roles are for people who aren't good enough at research. This isn't true either; rather, operations requires a distinct skill set. From our interviews with successful operations staff, we made the following list of traits: intelligence, creativity, initiative, social skills and conscientiousness. You don't need to have all of these traits to excel, but the more of them you have, the better your chances of being a good fit for operations roles.
