Data Mesh, Data Warehouses, and Data Meshes - What's Next?
If data mesh was never invented, would you have still implemented something like data mesh at roch or was knowing it, naming it and recognizing it important? That's a great question. I i don't think that would have such a struct your thinking but it would have been some of a mixed form of what we have learned from implementing data lakes to implement data warehouses. We might have come up with a mixed approach. But i would have definitely insisted on avoiding let's not build yet another enterprise lake. Let's not build another enterprise tata warehouse. So if we want to really go take the next step, let's think differently. It's all about reusability. If it fits
