Prayer Is Not Complicated

In christians to day, we tend to fill our prayers with euphemis s and phrases that are only ever heard between dear god and amen. So according to jesus, prayer is not complicated. And it is not found in eloquent speeches or in religious platitudes. Prayer is unpretentious and practical and straightforward. It deals directly with our basic day to day needs ad wants. Gritude is a practice and a virtue that is the very heartbeat of the spiritual life. Ask for big things and small things for small things before supper because this asking variety of prayer is also a battle of gratitude.
