The Effects of Remediation on Advanced Course Takers in Florida
In some districts remediation in English actually increased the likelihood of advanced course taking in other subjects, just a tiny bit. That was not the case for those districts that did more of that tracking in sixth grade. It seems like the districts are doing this really differently. If you can just get people to stop, you know, labeling kids. I mean, that's the takeaway.
