There is still much debate in scholarly circles about what the function or the whereabouts of certain things were I'm presuming. Well, we have the issue of the famous hanging gardens, and the archeology is very complicated again. The gate of a star was definitely covered with these blue-colored glaze bricks, that were an innovation of that time. So they added cobalt or to the glaze to make it shiny and blue. That was a new thing, probably, as far as we know.
