The Importance of Being Set Apart
As the world grows darker and darker, it's much more easy for us to see a distinct way of living for Christ. In Philippians 2, we're told to have the mind of Christ. It's not driven by selfish ambition; Christ came to free us from that. One of the dangers I think in the church is we act like that level of devotion to Christ is weird. But it's very normal according to Christ. We shouldn't be adding to what God calls us to do but doing those things is not abnormality.
