The Objection of Materialism

We invent a cosmic daddy, an invisible daddy in the sky, who is immortal and will always know us. That's a very clever explanation for the idea of God. And it's natural. It comes from the infant's natural terror at being alone. So I wouldn't say this is an unnatural desire or an unnatural object, but it's a natural desire for a supernatural object.
