Can I Provide Personal Identification to a Police Officer?

If an officer comes up and asks me a question, I can ask him. Am I free to go? And at that point, if the officer says no, I'm retaining you for reasonable – for whatever, who are you? At that point, I'm legally required to tell the officer who I am. There was a Supreme Court case about 10 or 15 years ago out of Nevada where somebody refused to provide ID in those situations. In Colorado, I'm not aware of any such statute.
