What Is Cognitive Emotional Empathy?

I'm writing a book on cognitive empathy, by which I mean just perspective taking. We get attached to our point of view and if you're attached to your patriotism it shows up as an unquestioning acceptance for whatever is done in the name of your country. When I make myself the same as my country, I won't even question my country. And I'll put up with the worst kind of crimes committed. There's been so much evil perpetrated in the world by your country, by mine, by Russia, by England, by any country. This is just blindness.
